The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System is an internationally accepted benchmark for design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings, developed by the U S Green Building Council (USGBC) and adapted by Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC), tailored specifically for Canadian climates, construction practices and regulations.

The Collavino Group understands the important role and responsibility of the general contractor to attain LEED points during construction. We have systematic procedures in place to ensure that construction related LEED credits are achieved and that proper documentation is maintained for project certification. We are proud to say that we recently completed the 300,000 square-foot building for the University of Windsor, the largest building in Windsor-Essex registered and targeting LEED Gold Certification.
